Do You Prefer to Receive Money or Things as Presents?
Personally, I prefer to receive things as presents rather than money. When someone gives me a gift, it feels more special and thoughtful. A present shows that the person knows what I like. For example, my friend once gave me a book by my favorite author, and I loved it. Gifts often remind me of the person who gave them.
However, I understand why some people like getting money. Money is practical and gives you the chance to buy what you really need. But for me, a gift has more emotional value. I enjoy unwrapping a present and being surprised.
Also, I think it is easier to remember special moments with gifts. I still have toys and souvenirs from my childhood birthdays. They bring back good memories. In my opinion, gifts are more meaningful.
So, even though money can be useful, I feel happier when I receive something chosen just for me.
